Despite overwhelming public opposition to sending more aid to Israel in the form of tax dollars and weapons, Rep. Mike Johnson (R-La. ), the new House speaker, has promised that his first act as leader of the Republican Party in Congress will be to transfer billions of dollars to Israel.
